House of Quimbanda

I want to invite everyone to The House of Quimbanda, a website and blog dedicated to the great African Traditional Religion of Quimbanda. It is the website of the first authentic terreiro and house established in the United States with a verifiable Brazilian lineage.

Our terreiro is open to those who seek out the power and wisdom of Exu and Pomba Gira, who want to learn the mysteries of the cult, and who are looking for the services of a Quimbandiero. It will be updated regularly as it continues to grow, but there is already some great information up on its pages.

It is our mission to provide a valuable resource for quality information and services in the religion of Quimbanda on the internet and to establish the religion as a legitimately accepted religion here in the United States. We dedicate the site to Exu Rei of our house under the guidance of our ancestors and God.

Our mother house is located in Brazil to whom we give our loyalty and it is from its soil that the fires of Quimbanda are now lit in the United States.

Be sure to stop by The House of Quimbanda and spread the word. Keep an eye out for further updates, changes, and expansions as the house grows and evolves as Exu sees fit. May the fires lit burn until they blaze across the nation. Exu and Pomba Gira have heard the call of those hungry for the nocturnal widom they offer and are here to stay. May their fire burn bright and strong.

Sarava Exu!
Sarava Pomba Gira!
Laroye!

See now, this is just not fair.

Just the other day, I told someone that I was never going to get involved in an ATR and that the only one I have been tempted by is Quimbanda. Of course, with my kids and business I can't run off to other countries for months on end like I used to, so since there are no Quimbanda houses in the US, the temptation is minimal.

Seriously though, this is fantastic to hear about. I will be spreading the word.

Haha, well if anyone knows a thing or two about temptation it would be Exu and Pomba Gira ;-).

Thank you so much, my friend!
